"Sage is honored to be helping a strong family-owned business like GloryBee increase efficiencies and expand into new markets,” said Paul Bridgewater, executive vice president and managing director for Sage Payment Solutions. “Integrating payments with accounting can automate workflow and help small businesses better manage the movement of money. With Sage products, entrepreneurs around the world are spending less time on administrative tasks and dedicating more energy toward growing their businesses. It's our privilege to serve them well."

For more than 40 years, GloryBee has supplied honey, sweeteners, spices, dried fruits, nuts, oils and other quality ingredients to natural food manufacturers, bakeries, markets and other stores. The company also offers beekeeping supplies, bath, body and aromatherapy products.

GloryBee started in a family garage in 1975, when Dick Turanski, a beekeeper, and his wife Pat wanted to provide natural, healthy ingredients for the people of Eugene, Oregon. GloryBee is still family-owned and family-operated and currently makes and distributes more than 1,200 products.

Sage is critical to GloryBee's day-to-day business processes. Using Sage Payment Solutions with Sage X3, the company integrates its payment and accounting systems—simplifying its business management processes.

"We're reaching more customers and expanding our business by using tablets and mobile phones as point-of-sale (POS) terminals at trade shows and other remote locations,” said Alan Turanski, president of GloryBee. "That wasn't an option in the past."

The company's cash flow has also improved with Sage Payment Solutions. There is more accountability, as executives know where payments are being made and what payments are coming in automatically, and they have the ability to track payments faster. And, with all their payment and accounting information in one place, reconciliation is easier each month.

Added Turanski, "We wouldn’t be where we are today without Sage, and Sage is going to help us grow in the next 10 years, because its innovative embedded solutions are allowing us to scale our business."

Sage Payment Solutions provides complete and secure payment options to allow Small & Medium Businesses to manage the movement of money – so they can seamlessly get paid, make payments and manage their money.

Sage X3 enables enterprise-class business management that reduces costs and complexity while adapting quickly to a company's unique requirements. The solution includes built-in functionality for multi-company accounting and reporting, multisite operations, and global operations in process manufacturing, general manufacturing, business services, international trade and more.
